Abstract

Acne vulgaris is a common chronic inflammatory condition of the pilosebaceous units primarily affecting adolescents and young adults. It often leads to psychological distress due to its visible manifestations. Conventional treatments may have limitations including side effects and relapses. Homeopathic management offers a holistic and individualized approach aimed at treating the underlying predispositions and symptomatology. This article reviews the clinical features of acne and explores the efficacy, common remedies, and treatment protocols in homeopathy. Evidence from case studies and clinical observations supports homeopathy as a safe and effective complementary treatment in acne management.
