Abstract

AgriMind is a web-based smart farm management application designed to help farmers organize livestock information, milk production, expenses, tasks, reports, and farm-related knowledge in a single platform. The system is implemented as a Flask and SQLite prototype with a responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript interface.

The application incorporates practical AI components for farm decision support. A scikit-learn Linear Regression model predicts the next day's total milk production from a user's historical milk records. A lightweight retrieval module uses TF-IDF and cosine similarity to locate relevant content from a shared farming knowledge base. A rule-based AI assistant interprets common questions about milk, expenses, animal health, vaccination, feeding, tasks, and farm status.

AgriMind also provides bilingual English/Tamil interaction, animal and goat record management, expense categorization, task reminders, location-based weather, and PDF, Excel, and CSV report exports. The architecture keeps each farm's operational data scoped to its user account, while reference knowledge is shared. The project demonstrates how machine learning and intelligent automation can be integrated with routine farm-management workflows.
