Abstract
Natrum Muriaticum, commonly known as Sodium Chloride or common salt, occupies an important position in both Homoeopathic Materia Medica and Schuessler's Biochemic System of Medicine. Although derived from the same source substance, Natrum Muriaticum in potentised homoeopathic form and Natrum Mur in biochemic tissue salt form differ in their preparation, therapeutic application, and sphere of action. Homoeopathic Natrum Muriaticum acts on the dynamic plane, influencing the mental, emotional, and physical constitution of the patient according to the law of similar. In contrast, Natrum Mur biochemic medicine primarily functions as a tissue remedy, regulating water distribution and maintaining cellular balance. This article explores the characteristics, actions, and therapeutic significance of Natrum Muriaticum in both systems of medicine and highlights their similarities and differences.
