CALIBRATION OF PHASED ARRAY ULTRASONIC TESTING (PAUT) USING MASTER CASTING REFERENCE BLOCK

Abstract

 This study involves the preparation and utilization of a master casting reference block with multiple flat-bottom holes (FBH) at different depths for the calibration of Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) equipment. The block was designed to simulate different defect depths in a uniform medium, enabling proper sensitivity adjustment and accuracy verification of the PAUT system.
