Abstract
Pharmacodynamics is an essential concept in homoeopathy that explains the effects of medicines on the healthy human body. These effects are identified through drug proving and later correlated with similar symptoms in diseased individuals according to the law of similars. Understanding the pharmacodynamic action of a remedy helps the physician select the most appropriate medicine based on the patient's individual symptom picture rather than the disease diagnosis alone. This review highlights the importance of pharmacodynamic actions and their clinical correlation in homoeopathic practice.
