Abstract

This study examined the impact of fiscal management strategies on resource allocation effectiveness in selected public schools using a descriptive-correlational research design. The study involved 114 respondents who were selected through universal sampling technique. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The findings revealed that the level of fiscal management strategies was generally Very High. Similarly, the level of resource allocation effectiveness in terms of resource distribution, adequacy of resources, educational outcomes, and satisfaction of faculty and staff was also rated Very High. The Pearson correlation analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between fiscal management strategies and resource allocation effectiveness. Among the predictors, External Funding and Partnerships Strategy emerged as the strongest predictor of resource allocation effectiveness. The study concludes that effective fiscal management strategies contribute significantly to improving resource allocation effectiveness and recommends strengthening budget management practices and external partnerships to enhance educational outcomes and organizational effectiveness in schools.
