Abstract

Nitric acid is a deep acting remedy in homoeopathy with marked action on mucous membranes, skin and bones. It shows three types of action: chemical, mechanical and dynamic. Chemical action is seen in its corrosive, ulcerative nature. Mechanical action appears as splinter-like pains. Dynamic action is the core homoeopathic action on the vital force, producing mental, emotional and constitutional changes.
